Pajama Dressing

Pajama dressing is not only one of the hottest Fall 2016 trends, but it also happens to be the comfiest.

I don’t know if you’ve ever experienced this, but some Monday mornings as I’m getting ready for work, leaving the weekend behind, The Bangle’s “Manic Monday” will play in my head.

“I wish it was Sunday (whoa, whoaaooh), ’cause that’s my FUN day”. You know, THAT song.

By writing this post I wanted to reset the Prince written Manic Monday soundtrack to a less frantic scenery.

Rather than catching an early train to get to work by 9, making beds, trying to figure out what to wear, I would rather have my Monday run smoothly. For starters, having the outfit figured out.

I get to work by 7:30 (dunno what Susanna is talking about), and my self-employed husband is still in bed when I leave, so no beds to make. And as it’s summer and the kids also get to sleep in, mornings are more or less all about me.

These essentials from my capsule wardrobe see me out the door by the time the song is over. Business tailoring with a peek of pajama dressing…I like to ease into the work week.

Xoxo,
