Ten Key Pieces from…Everlane Showroom

Ten Key Pieces from the Everlane Showroom

I was excited to receive an email from Everlane announcing 5 days of interactive events in San Francisco, especially the launch of their new Showroom.

(This was sort of a dream come true as I had emailed Everlane asking them to create a pop up shop).

Everlane recently hosted an Open Studio in January, situated within their operating creative work space, that featured key pieces from their Street Fleece collection . However, the Showroom occupies a niche of Everlane’s newly renovated annex space that I was introduced to during the Open Studio event.

Everlane commissioned the design of the Showroom from Los Angeles based husband-and-wife team of creative studio Brook & Lyn.*

*While the SF Showroom is open to the public today, The LA Showroom location offers open hours on an ongoing basis.

With displays constructed from durable materials of wood, metal, and smoked glass louvers (or fins as we call them in architecture & construction), the Showroom featured a curated collection of new arrivals as well as yet to launch pieces available for pre-order.

Each featured piece was neatly displayed in a range of sizes on large wooden dowels at an angle suggestive of the Brook&Lyn glass fins.

Friendly stylists were on standby to offer input and provide size recommendations. Guests sipped mimosas and lounged in mid-century modern furniture while mulling over which items to buy (the hardest part for me because everything is great). A nearby computer kiosk awaited those ready to check out.

Women’s accessories included the Modern Loafer, the Street Shoe, a Modern Ankle Boot, and the Petra Backpack among others. The wrinkle free Go Weave collection included the Track Pant and my personal favorite the Crop Trouser. There was also a menswear line for the guys (or gals like me who’s boyish figure is flattered by the boyfriend fit). And while most of the pieces come only in the neutral color palette of grey, black, white, or navy that Everlane is known for there were also color pops to be had: the Breton style Heavyweight Tee in a blue and red stripe and the most dreamy rose quartz Square Silk top.
