For the past five years I honestly didn’t think my supersized handbag collection would ever see the light of day again. That is, until they were spotted all over the SS17 runways.

Fortunately those of us who held on to our supersized handbags (the one above is from FW2012) can haul them out of their dust bags and lug them around with pride!

Which is a good thing for my husband whom I talked into this supersized handbag from MMMxHM years back. At the time he thought the cost was ridiculously expensive. Little did we both know, my foray into fashion blogging would forever change how we define “expensive”.

As trends evolve rather rapidly, and those pink boxes from Mansur Gavriel started flowing into the house, the oversize MMMxHM bag was relegated to the back of the closet. The hubs felt I had tossed his hard earned money aside, as handbags became buckety, mini, and then micro.

Now that outsized bags are back, this gorgeous tote is back in rotation once again. Lesson: Never let go of a timeless (supersized) handbag.
