Midi for the Weekend: Grana Full Silk Skirt

Grana Full Silk Skirt

Are you ready for the weekend? I know I am. These days so many of us juggle our full-time schedules with side hustles, volunteering, and hobbies. My case in point is fashion blogging. As a result of having so many balls in the air, I often let my wardrobe slide on the weekends out of pure exhaustion.

Not this weekend however. In today’s post I’m showing how the perfect workweek basic, the midi skirt, defines the perfect weekend look.

About this midi – The Grana Full Silk Skirt is the brand’s debut into the pure silk skirt. They feel it’s kind of a big deal and I have to agree. Made from 100% crepe de chine, this silk is lighter and more airy than previous silks from Grana (for more on these read my previous post). The mid length is functional as well as on trend. And, best of all this skirt has, drumroll please, POCKETS!

I get so excited over pockets in skirts and dresses, probably because that awkward teen in me still needs a place to shove my hands. 😂 The overall look is anything but awkward when paired with badass ankle boots (also a “key piece”) with a statement making “concrete” heel, and accessories with coordinated metal hardware.

(Can we have a moment for WhoWhatWear x Target on this affordable ring bag?)

And since nothing says weekend like a T-shirt, I borrowed this Tumblr worthy T from the boys (lit-er-ally from my son) to top off the look.

*If you’re on Instagram you’ll notice the new feature that allows bloggers to disclose sponsored posts in the location field. I’m a fan of transparency in blogging and social media influence. Not everyone agrees. Anyway, my friends at Grana generously gifted me a few of their latest designs (and a discount code for you) in exchange for posting my looks on social media. Therefore this is a sponsored post. Make no mistake, I’m a Grana Wardrobe Essentials repeat customer as well as an official Grana Friend, of which I am proud. And all the links in my side bar (over there–>) are affiliate programs I participate in. This means I may receive compensation for clicks, and or purchases. Just thought you should know.
